“I really enjoyed playing at Chagstock, I hope it goes from strength to strength and that I can come back either with Squeeze or as a solo performer next year. The staging and the back stage were wonderful and the audience very welcoming. Even nice loos, what more could you ask for!" Chris Difford

"The Best Little Festival in The South West" Ade Edmondson

Chagstock is intended to be family friendly although not exclusively, and suitable for young and not so young alike. To complement that philosophy we are keen not to focus on any particular music genre, but to offer a blend of music to suit a wide range of tastes. We also put in a lot of effort to ensure that the experience is as pleasant as possible, with no overcrowding (the license limits numbers) and plentiful clean facilities - with proper loo trailers for the ladies!

There is a licensed bar on site, food available from stall holders and a kids play area.

A Huge Thank You

... to all those who came, played and or worked at Chagstock 2009 to make it the best yet! The feedback (see some below) has been phenomenal and it is always heartening to hear people say that they had a fantastic time.

It is hard work and I particularly want to thank the amazing team of volunteers who come to help set up, run and take down the festival.

Without them it could not happen.

Some feedback from you!

Just wanted to say a major thank you for another great festival this year, don't know how you guys do it - great acts
(esp. Seth Lakeman,Squeeze & of course the awesome John Otway) mixed up with other unexpected gems, like the Okehampton school choir's Somewhere Over The Rainbow, a special moment. Loved the new family camping area too. Delicious Yellowhammer, T-shirts at non-ripoff prices, etc etc I could go on & on... We love what you do!
The Spalding family.

Haven't stopped talking about it ever since - to anyone who will listen. Had such a brilliant time and will be persuading our four pretty 'cool' kids, aged 18 to 24 to go along next year. The idea of young and old rubbing shoulders together might not seem, in this day and age, very likely, but it really did happen!
And as for the venue? WOW! Can't be another backdrop like that around. You have done a fabulous job - everything ran so smoothly - music, people, stalls - interesting hats (?!), food on the stalls was superb and very good prices - and most of all the music, which surely offered something for everyone whatever their age, and into the bargain, was always very clear and audibe. Eileen.

Me and my wife just wanted to drop you an email to say how much we enjoyed this years festival. Absolutely fantastic! The music was great, the atmosphere brilliant and the people so nice. The Music in the acoustic tent on Friday night was absolutely sensational, I've never experienced anything like it. Seth lakeman was stunning, Ella Edmundson's band were brilliant and we loved Cole Stacey's set. Congratulations on getting such great artists, The bad Shepherds and Squeeze - wow! We cant wait for next years festival and well done for chagstock 2009! Rich &Anne.
