I really enjoyed playing at Chagstock, I hope it goes from strength to strength and that I can come back either with Squeeze or as a solo performer next year. The staging and the back stage were wonderful and the audience very welcoming. Even nice loos, what more could you ask for!

Some feedback from you from 2011!

Hi Simon, First time at Chagstock and it exceeded all expectations. We were refugees from Trowbridge and took pot luck on Chagstock and I'm so glad we did. Great music, great food and great beer. We had the grandkids with us and it was nice to let them go feral, knowing they could easily find us. And what lovely people, so friendly and chatty. Is this a Devon thing? If the weather wasn't so gruesome we'd leave Stroud immediately! It would nice next year if you could sort out more chairs and tables for the bar areas. They're a good social space and could have had a more 'pubby' atmosphere. Kids loved the turd throwing, young Peter was the champion, now there's a thing to put on your cv. Anyway, good on ya Si! Loved it. And yes, we will bring one more person next year.

Hi Simon. Just a quick note to say thanks for having us at Chagstock. We had a great time and hope we did a good job for you. It was by far the most well organised and professional festival we've ever played too! All the best and congrats on a great festi.

4 of us attended the whole weekend, and just wanted to say what a wonderful event, and we had the most fabulous time, great line up especially magic numbers and bellowhead, in fact all of it was fantastic thank you so much, Keith&Jo Kingstone- Peter&Ginny Sutton

Morning Si, Just a quick email to thank you and the organisers for such a great Festival last weekend. I have been attending Festivals and music gigs for over 50 years and Chagstock 2011 was definitely one of the best, certainly the friendliest and one of the best organised, real toilets! luxury! especially at my age. The choice of bands were brilliant too, my kind of music. It was great painting on site and my 'Hollow Meadow' painting raised a lot of interest, especially from people who knew you and where it was. I have had to put it aside for the moment to work on some dead-lined work but will feature it in the WMN when it is finished I will let you know when. It was also good supporting WildAid and meeting Dawn, Nick and the crew. We all got on really well and we managed to make a few bob for them and will definitely be doing something together in the future perhaps Chagstock 2012!!. All the very best for now and thanks again for letting me be part of a great Festival.

Cheers, Dick. www.theartofdicktwinney.com
