The Sandy Park Inn
We love The Sandy. Nick Rout (The Landlord) is a genius. Superb real ales, friendly people, very good food and lovely bedrooms in a thatched Dartmoor pub about a mile outside Chagford.

The Sandy has a sister pub of beguiling charms, a few miles down the road at Moretonhampstead called the White Hart Hotel.

The Ring O'Bells
The Ringers has pole position on Chagford Square. We've spent many days and evenings with Colin and Fran at their bar.

There's always good talk, good beer and excellent whiskies. The Ringers also runs a top-notch restaurant and has lovely rooms upstairs, some with a view over the Square. Their occasional live music nights can kick-off into real parties.

O'Hanlon's have kindly sponsored the wristbands and are providing the beer!

Bullers Arms
Go and see Maurice and Wendy at the Bullers - two of the nicest people in Chagford. They specialise in good, straight-forward food at modest prices, along with the beer, quiz nights and atmosphere you'd expect in a regular village pub. They have some of the most reasonably priced accommodation too.

Based in Moretonhampstead, they stock a wide range of building materials and pride themselves on their service and the ability to provide the correct products, when and where you want them at the right price.
