The
Saw Doctors at Chagstock '07
This year the festival took place on Friday
evening and from midday on Saturday. Please go to the line-up
page for details.
We
have recently been asked by some folk who haven't been to a festival
before - and use other well known festivals as a guide - to provide
some more details about the sort of music on offer and who the festival
is aimed at.
Chagstock
is intended to be a family festival - suitable for young and not
so young alike, and to complement that philosophy we are keen not
to focus on any particular music genre, but to offer a blend of
music to suit a wide range of tastes. We also put in a lot of effort
to ensure that the experience is as pleasant as possible, with no
overcrowding (the license limits numbers) and plentiful clean facilities
- with proper loo trailers for the ladies!
There
will also be a licensed bar on site, food available from stall holders
and
a kids play area.
and
an extra link for you..

Here
are some testimonials from last year:
Just
to say we had a brilliant time at the weekend and have very nearly
dried out! We thought it was extremely well organised and would
love to come next year. So thanks for all your hard work and well
done. We loved No Crisis, Ella Edmonson (fantastic talent), Pholklaw
(would have liked to see them on main stage), and of course Saw
Doctors who we have seen on several occasions before. Most magical
site! Many thanks. The Sorrell family.

Just
wanted to drop you a line to say what a FANTASTIC weekend we had
at the festival. We hope it was a huge success for you and worth
all the hard work it must have been! Long may it continue as we
look forward to spreading the word and coming back year on year!
Thanks so much. Chantal, James, Brogan and Fergus Dent

I
just wanted to send a huge thank you from myself and all my friends
and family who made the special trip down to Chagford for the festival
two weekends back. I have never atended such a great fest filled
with so much diversity yet still maintain a common theme with all
the diverse artists on the line-up. I have to make a special note
to say that the South African guitarist and sitar player you booked,
Guy Buttery, stole the show for the ENTIRE festival for me, all
my friends and family, and for everyone else in that tent that evening
I'm sure. It was just an incredible experience and it was great
to see he did so well with all his CD sales too. I have yet to hear
a guitarist of such quality and passion. Thanks again to everyone
at Chagstock. I look forward to next year {and hopefully to seeing
Guy again if he is on tour at that stage}. We will be there! Bhakti
