Chagstock Festival has teamed up with local brewers Dartmoor Brewery for this years' festival. Dartmoor Ale for a Dartmoor Festival!
Situated in the very heart of Dartmoor National Park at 1400
feet above sea level we are the highest brewery in England and we
believe the best!
We can be summed up in three words - 'passionate about brewing'.
Our mission is to consistently brew top quality cask conditioned
real ale.
Brewing started in 1994 in a converted garage behind the Prince
of Wales pub in the centre of Princetown. We soon demonstrated that
there was an unsatisfied demand for the taste of real ale. By never
compromising on quality and using the skills of master brewer Mike
Lunney, we have expanded year upon year.
Remaining family owned to this day, and now brewing from a
purpose built brewery on the site of the old Princetown Railway,
our brands are becoming more popular than ever.
Surrounded by beautiful moorland in the very centre of a
national park, you may consider us highly privileged and lucky to
be doing what we enjoy doing more than anything else - brewing and
sampling what we think is Britain's best beer.
